BioStore is a software company, based in Hexham, Northumberland. We supply Identity Management solutions to the UK education market.

We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our team at our Hexham office. We are currently recruiting for a Web Developer/Designer, Software  Developers and Sales Manager/ Senior Sales Executive

Software Developer

Responsible for writing and coding individual programmes from specific requirements.

Skills/attributes required:

• Experience/knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET C#/C++
• Good understanding of SQL Server and integration into data driven Websites
• Experience/knowledge of Active Directory
• Good general knowledge of Windows computer systems, applications and architecture
• Ability to take responsibility for and self-manage small projects
• Ability to code software according to published standards and design guidelines
• Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure
• A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work
• Ability to work well within a team

Duties and responsibilities:

• Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents.
• Perform coding to written technical specifications
• Investigate, analyse and document reported defects
• Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects
• Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates
• Performs related duties as assigned
